A candidate shall be considered to have satisfied the requirements of attendance for the year if he/she attended not less than 80% of the number of working periods in each of the subjects of the course during the academic year and if his/her conduct and progress have been satisfactory. For teaching practice also a student has to put in atleast 80% of attendance. Students who fail to complete the course in the manner stated above, would not be allowed to take their examination. However the Vice-Chancellor shall have the power to condone shortage of attendance fee as prescribed by the University.
